Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift Launched at ₹6.10 Lakh With Level 2 ADAS and New Features
Maruti Suzuki has launched the facelifted version of its popular Baleno premium hatchback in India, with the updated model carrying a starting price of ₹6.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2026 Baleno receives a series of upgrades focused on technology, comfort and safety, while retaining the familiar overall shape of the outgoing car.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift: Exterior Updates
The facelifted Baleno continues with the same basic silhouette, but Maruti Suzuki has made several changes to give it a fresher appearance.
At the front, the projector LED headlamps have been revised and continue to incorporate the daytime running lights. The car also receives a redesigned grille and an updated front bumper.
Changes at the rear are relatively subtle, with the overall design remaining close to the outgoing version. A shark-fin antenna has been added, while the side profile continues with the familiar styling. The facelift also gets a new alloy-wheel design.
Maruti Suzuki is offering the updated Baleno in a new Enigmatic Teal exterior colour.
Updated Baleno Interior
Inside, the 2026 Baleno gets a dual-tone blue-and-black cabin theme. The dashboard layout remains broadly similar to the previous model, including a centrally positioned floating infotainment display and physical controls for key functions.
The steering wheel design has also been retained, with integrated controls providing access to various functions.
New Features and Safety Technology
One of the biggest highlights of the facelift is the addition of new comfort and convenience features. The Baleno now gets front ventilated seats, claimed to be a first-in-segment feature.
Other additions include a wireless charging system, Clarion audio system and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Safety technology has also received a significant upgrade. The 2026 Baleno comes with six airbags as standard and introduces a Level 2 ADAS package.
The driver-assistance suite includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, high-beam assist and forward collision warning, among other functions.
With these updates, Maruti Suzuki is positioning the facelifted Baleno as a more technology-focused and safety-oriented premium hatchback while keeping its familiar design largely intact.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift Price
The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno starts at ₹6.10 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The facelift is expected to strengthen the model's position in the premium hatchback segment by combining its established design with upgraded safety and driver-assistance technology.
